For six years, I work in venture capital (VC) industry, watching technology reshape industries and consumer startups reimagine daily life. I saw billions pour into cutting-edge areas, the most fascinating space to me was always the Consumer Sector.

Though it never made up more than 5-15% of VC/PE deals in any year, it was here that I learned the most valuable lesson: technology is a tool, but people are the purpose.

While tech can streamline and innovate, it's the understanding of human desire, the nostalgia, joy, or comfort we crave, that turns a product into something meaningful.

In recent years, as AI has transformed how we live and work, that lesson has only grown clearer. AI is undeniably powerful, far more practical than former hotspot like the Metaverse.

But it also raises a critical question: what happens when we prioritize efficiency over humanity? We've all heard predictions of vanishing jobs, but for me, the bigger concern was simpler: losing sight of the "unnecessary" things that make life rich.

That's where Venture Craft was born.
